The master's degree in School Counseling is a 52 credit program of study. This rigorous program provides students with the coursework necessary for becoming licensed school counselors in the state of Montana. In addition, consistent with CACREP national standards, the program requires that students obtain at least 700 hours of supervised school counseling experience, 600 of which must occur within an appropriate school setting.
