Teachers seeking to take their skills and knowledge to the next level to develop innovative lessons and enhance their classroom learning environments can do so through Lehigh University's Master's degree in Teaching and Learning. The program is geared primarily toward practicing teachers and, in recognition of that, offers flexible options for completing the course work. Candidates can earn either a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning or a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning, depending on their course of study. Degrees require the completion of 10-14 courses (30-42 credits) offered in person, online and in hybrid options, including summer institutes that are intensive eight-day courses. Lehigh's experienced faculty work with master's candidates to expand their understanding of how children learn and how to design materials and environments that will best serve all students, including those with special needs and English as Second Language (ESL).
