国际学生入学条件

Official High School or College transcripts must be sent directly from the schools attended in the U.S. or abroad. Foreign transcripts must also be accompanied by a Credential Evaluation by a certified credentialing service. All international students must submit entrance exam scores. Take one of the following exams and request your scores to be sent directly to UTEP from the testing center:
SAT: minimum score of 1070 (reading + math sections) with a score of 480 on the reading section
ACT: minimum composite score of 23 with a score of 19 on the English section
TOEFL: minimum score of 500 on UTEP's institutional paper based exam or
a minimum score of 61 on the Internet Based TOEFL (IBT)
UTEP does not accept IELTS scores for admission.

From foundations to graduation, the painting area at UTEP places a strong emphasis on the technical skills required to make paintings that are personally important, socially relevant, and visually brilliant. With a first year focus on painting from direct observation and understanding color, students are increasingly encouraged to integrate their interests and ideas with imaging technologies that can take painting to new and exciting places. From the traditional to the contemporary, students learn through practice how to build a unique and original world of painted imagery.
