This program is primarily intended for those students who plan to work in community, agency and private practice settings that provide mental health services. The College of Education prepares teachers, counselors, diagnosticians and school administrators at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our undergraduates are supported throughout their academic journey by the College's Center for Student Success. We are proud to report that since 2002 the College has prepared more than 8,500 teachers who serve at schools throughout the El Paso region. Among its most recent accolades, the College was ranked #1 in 2015 by The Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education magazine for awarding the most bachelor's degrees in education to Hispanics in the nation.
