国际学生入学条件
To be admitted to an undergraduate degree program as a regular freshman student, you must be a graduate from an approved or accredited high school (GED certificate may not be used for admission) and satisfy the below requirements:
You must have a 3.0 weighted GPA in the academic core courses in order to be admitted to the University of Nevada, Reno. The academic courses include: English, math, social sciences and natural sciences. A weighted GPA takes into account the extra difficulty of honors, AP or IB classes.
If you are not admissible, you will be offered enrollment to a Nevada NSHE Community College. You will be offered admission to a Nevada university once you have completed a minimum of 24 college transferable semester credits at a NSHE Community College and have a 2.5 GPA in all your coursework.
If you are a student who does not meet our academic GPA requirements, but have graduated with an Advanced Diploma from a Nevada high school, you will be granted admission to the University. You must also meet the 13 core course requirements in English, mathematics, social studies and natural sciences to be considered for admission.
You must submit your final, official high school transcripts to support your application for admission.

Communication studies focuses on how people connect in a dynamic world. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must-have for employers. Those who study communication understand the value of meaningful relationships, organizing innovative programs and interaction structures, navigating information in a digitally-mediated age and performing as leaders in organizations and communities. Classes involve the study of interpersonal relationships, organizational structures, cultural diversity, media and popular culture and public forms of communication.<br><br>Communication Studies offers a B.A. that allows students to study in two track areas: relational dynamics or public advocacy and civic engagement. Courses can be combined across the two areas to meet a student's career goals and personal interests.
