国际学生入学条件
You must have satisfactorily completed high school (secondary school) with at least a B average or a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale
Copies of transcripts of all high school work, including college-level courses.
Mid-year and final grades will be required.
Proof of high school graduation.
Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, Duolingo English Test, or IB English scores).
Two letters of recommendation.
A 300 to 350 word essay describing your career goals in the major you applied for and how attending New York Tech would further those goals.
SAT/ACT scores are not required for international students. Please review our test-optional policy. If you do want to submit scores, NYIT SAT Code: 2561, NYIT ACT Code 2832.
If you or your agent are submitting documents by email or fax, then they are not considered official. Your application for admission will be considered for admission when we receive copies of these documents but official documents must be received in order for you to register for classes.
The following minimum scores required for full admission to graduate programs are:
IELTS score: 6.0
TOEFL (iBT) score: 79
Pearson PTE score: 53

Help people from a range of backgrounds and experiences live better lives through counseling, advocacy, and mediation with the Behavioral Sciences-Sociology / Social Work, B.S. You'll study different social systems-family units, gangs, religious cults, medical systems, and more-and how they're impacted by race, ethnicity, gender, sexual preference, and social class.<br><br>You'll gain critical experience with field placement opportunities, as well as work side by side with full-time faculty on original research, presenting at regional and national conferences, as well as New York Tech's Symposium of University Research and Creative Expression (SOURCE).<br><br>Courses are offered in a range of formats, from small groups in traditional classrooms, through distance learning across campuses and classrooms, and online.
