生物化学与生物物理专业是分子与生物医学伞专业六个研究生专业之一。我们的研究生课程提供了一个动态的环境，让学生与教职员工密切合作进行前沿研究。我们同时提供MS和Ph.D。生物化学与生物物理学学位。攻读这些学位的学生将通过与生物化学计划教员的研究项目，学习将物理生物化学和结构生物学工具应用于令人兴奋的问题。生物分子结构与动力学中心以及分子和生物医学伞的相关研究为蒙大拿大学生物化学与生物物理学的研究生研究提供了丰富的背景。
To understand cellular processes at the level of atomic structure, chemical mechanism, and energetics is the focus of research in the Biochemistry and Biophysics (B & B). B & B faculty apply biochemical methods and a variety of spectroscopic and diffraction methods to investigate the structure and dynamics of macromolecules and their complexes in a range of biological contexts, including cellular signal transduction, neurobiology, virology, enzymology and the cryptic messages hidden in DNA sequences.<br><br>The Program in Biochemistry & Biophysics is one of six graduate programs within the Molecular and Biomedical Umbrella. Our graduate program provides a dynamic environment where students engage in cutting-edge research in close collaboration with faculty. We offer both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Biochemistry & Biophysics. Students pursuing these degrees will learn to apply the tools of physical biochemistry and structural biology to exciting problems through research projects with Biochemistry Program Faculty Members. The Center for Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics and related research in the Molecular and Biomedical Umbrella provide a rich context for graduate studies in Biochemistry & Biophysics at the University of Montana.
