Our Bachelor of Science in Physics prepares students for careers as professional physicists in industry, government, or graduate study in physics, engineering or material science. It also prepares students for teaching careers. Students interested in teacher certification should contact the School of Education and Human Development.<br>The (B.S.) degree in Physics prepares students for careers in research, industry, government, graduate study in physics, engineering, or material science. Students may work with the Department's faculty members in their research labs. Some students present the results of their research at national conferences and publish them in journals.
