Official transcripts of all higher education institutions attended.
Three letters of reference attesting to the applicant's ability to succeed in doctoral study. Letters and any other supporting documents.

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area with a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale on the last 60 hours of undergraduate work or a 3.25 GPA in a completed Master's Degree from an accredited program.
A 3.25 GPA in all graduate work attempted,
A master's degree from an accredited institution,
Students must submit verbal and quantitative scores from the GRE,
International graduate student applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit a score for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). A total score of 80 on the iBT TOEFL or overall 6.5 on the IELTS is required. TOEFL PBT - 550

The Doctoral Program in Exceptional Student Education prepares leadership personnel capable of advancing educational opportunities available to students with disabilities and the professional who serves them. The program prepares professionals for a broad view of leadership, capable of assuming roles as administrator, curriculum specialist, researcher, advocate, in-service and preservice trainer and others. Graduates take on leadership positions in schools, state government, private non-profit agencies, professional organizations, and other institutions of higher education. The Ed.D. in Exceptional Student Education requires a minimum 75 semester hours beyond the master's degree.
