法语和法语系文学学士

法语和法语系的学生侧重于流利的口语和书面语言，并精通法语世界的文化和文学。我们的部门还赞助了一个可选的“法文夏季学习计划”，以增加对这种语言的了解。法文专业人士已做好充分准备，可以攻读法文文学和语言学研究生课程，并在高中阶段任教。精通法语也会在国外或佛罗里达州（拥有200多家法文公司的所在地）带来许多政府，商务或接待方面的机会。法语是加拿大最大的贸易伙伴加拿大的官方语言之一，是商务或国际关系专业学生的理想第二辅修专业。
The French and Francophone major focuses on becoming fluent in the language, both spoken and written, and knowledgeable about the culture and literature of the French-speaking world. Our department also sponsors an optional Summer Study Abroad Program in France to enhance exposure to the language. French majors are fully prepared to enter graduate programs in French Literature and Linguistics, as well as teach at the high school level. The mastery of French can also lead to many opportunities in government, commerce or hospitality, either abroad or within Florida which is home to over 200 French companies. One of the official languages of Canada, US's largest trading partner, French is an ideal second major or minor for students in Business or International Relations.
