国际学生入学条件

Freshman applicants must submit official secondary school mark sheets and diploma. All documents must be originals or copies certified by the school principal or controller of examinations and sealed in a school envelope. Documents not in English must be translated by a certified translator. If your first language is not English, official English proficiency scores must be submitted directly to the International Programs Office from the testing center. To be considered for admission to ISU, international students applying as new undergraduates must meet the following academic requirements:
Have graduated from a high school or secondary school with satisfactory grades, received a diploma or certificate of graduation, and be eligible for admission to a major university in the country from which they graduated.
2.50 or better cumulative grade point average
TOEFL iBT: 61, Paper: 500, Computer: 173, IELTS- 5.5 overall score OR a minimum 5.0 in ALL subscores

课程简介

The Visual Communication emphasis includes tracks in Video Production, Graphic Design, and Photography, and is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills to succeed in a variety of fields, including: Advertising/Commercial Photographer, Graphic Designer, Videographer, Multimedia Journalist, Creative Director, Magazine or Documentary Photographer, Web/UX Designer, Studio Manager, Illustrator, Photo Editor, Technical Director, Video Producer & Director, Announcer, and Environmental Graphic Designer. Students in the video track will receive a broad foundation in fictional and nonfictional storytelling forms including TV news, documentary, dialogue (fictional) scenes, and nonverbal scenes. They will also learn to make public-relations-style videos for businesses and nonprofits. They will learn about aesthetics, ethics, and analytical frameworks that go into making quality videos.
