Our graduate program is rigorous and expansive, encouraging individual exploration in a dynamic community.Characterized by a close working relationship with professors, students engage in a rich exchange of ideas with fellow classmates, and a culture of experimentation and innovation.Our program is not media-specific. Faculty encourage cross-discipline exploration and all facilities are available to students to discover new and exciting possibilities to express their ideas.At the core of our MFA program is a close one-on-one mentorship with professors, and regular critiques with fellow students. Students investigate ideas and process deeply, and develop their understanding through studio work, research, writing, presentation and critical analysis.Additional coursework in disciplines outside of art augment the curriculum. Completion of the program culminates in a major thesis exhibition.We offer qualified students the opportunity to teach college classes through our Graduate Teaching Fellowship program. Scholarships are also available.
