Our Master of Science in Urban Education is designed for educators and other professionals who are interested in addressing issues in urban settings and schools and who want to clarify their understanding of theoretical foundations, engage in critical dialogue and broaden their expertise in action research.<br>Our degree emphasizes a social justice theoretical foundation and draws on the belief that students become reflective professionals by developing an understanding of formal and informal education within diverse sociocultural, linguistic, political and economic contexts.
