国际学生入学条件

International and foreign medical graduates interested in applying to the HWCOM MPAS must complete all the requirements listed for domestic applicants as well as the requirements listed below: Baccalaureate degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited college or university. Completion of all science prerequisite requirements within seven years at a college or university in the United States. Applicants must have their transcripts translated in accordance with CASPA guidelines. Applicants whose studies were completed outside of the US must demonstrate proficiency of the English Language by presenting a minimum score of 80 on the iBT TOEFL (equivalent to 550 on the paper – based version, 80 internet based or 6.5 overall on the International English Language Testing System (IETLS).

Becoming a physician assistant offers a unique opportunity to impact people's lives. It is a dynamic, challenging, and deeply rewarding career filled with the versatility to work in nearly any medical specialty.<br>Our Master in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) program trains highly skilled physician assistants in primary care.<br>Physician Assistants are licensed and certified health care providers practicing under the supervision of a licensed physician. PAs are currently in high demand due to the increasing shortage of physicians. PAs are filling the shortage by making health care more affordable and accessible and providing families with the care they desire from health care professionals. To date, more than 90,000 certified PAs practice in every setting, including medical and surgical specialties.
