A minimum 3.00 grade point average (GPA) in a completed undergraduate degree program
To be eligible for admission to the program, students must:
Hold a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university
Be in good standing at all previously-attended colleges and universities.
Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4-point scale) in all of their upper-division coursework or have earned a graduate degree with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
Have at least 3 years of professional work experience or score at least 500 on the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or the equivalent on the Graduate Record Exam (GRE)
Official transcripts of a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university. Your academic records must be sent directly to us by your previous educational institution(s).
Transcripts: Yearly or semester records that indicate the number of lecture and/or laboratory hours and the grade or mark received in each course.
Diplomas: for all degrees you have received, with the title of degree and date conferred.
If the language of instruction at your institution was not English, then you must provide the original-language copies of all transcripts and diplomas as described above AND:
A separate English-language translation of all academic records. The translation should either come from a professional, certified translator. It must contain all information shown on the original-language documents and ''mirror'' them as precisely as possible.
Please note that FIU accepts transcript and diploma translations, and all evaluations of official academic records are to be performed by FIU staff only. Some suggested agencies are found on the University Graduate School website.
A current resume including detailed logistics & SCM experience, if any.
Provide three letters of recommendation from professional supervisors and/or former faculty that attest to the applicant's educational background, motivation, and analytical skills,
Statement of purposeoutlining your professional goals in pursuing the MS in Logistics & SCM degree and why you would be an ideal candidate for admission into the program.
Applicants who hold an undergraduate or graduate degree from an institution where the language of instruction is not English must demonstrate English proficiency by taking either:
TOEFL (minimum scores are: 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based, and 80 internet-based)
IELTS (minimum score is 6.5)
Pearson Test of English – Academic (minimum score is 53)
Cambridge English – Advanced

The Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (MSLSCM) program prepares students for managerial and executive careers in the logistics and supply chain management industry.<br>The 10-month program provides a rigorous graduate education focused on three areas of logistics that are demanded by today's business environment: logistics technology, data analytics and distribution modeling. The program's cohort-based, lockstep fashion allows the integration of these three key components into each course.<br>Students become familiar with software such as SAP, Salesforce, Magaya, SPSS and MercuryGate and learn to utilize digital technology to gather, access, manage, analyze and utilize the vast data available in the global transportation and logistics industry. Graduates develop their technical knowledge, interpersonal skills and market knowledge.<br><br>In the current marketplace, diverse employment opportunities include logistics analyst, logistics manager, supply chain analyst, supply chain manager, fleet manager, warehouse operations manager, storage and distribution manager, global logistics manager, procurement manager, acquisition project analyst, facilities manager and others.
