国际学生入学条件
FIU requires all incoming students, whether first year or transfer students, to submit all official academic transcripts from every high school or college/university attended prior to submitting their application.
Transcripts received by FIU become the property of FIU and will not be returned to the applicant or forwarded to any other institution.
For international credentials a certified copy issued by the previous institution's registration office may be submitted. Please note that the translation is separate from the official transcript requirement (both are necessary).
International students must submit English language proficiency exams and other documents to apply to FIU

Our Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy emphasizes effective and critical reading, writing and speaking. The study of philosophy deals with the interpretation of texts, the balanced exposition and examination of issues, the construction and appraisal of arguments and explanations, and the criticism of doctrines and thoughts commonly taken for granted.<br>Our work encompasses a broad range of topics and methods of inquiry: Socratic questioning of the nature of human knowledge, probing the rational basis of moral and political thought, confronting fundamental questions of value and meaning, and exploring the structure of reasoning itself. We study the great philosophers for historical understanding as well as contemporary significance.<br><br>We are an integral component in strengthening, promoting and contributing to innovative research and teaching. Our students participate in critical reading and interpretation of scholarly texts, as well as in the construction and appraisal of arguments.
