Freshman applicants must submit official secondary school mark sheets and diploma. All documents must be originals or copies certified by the school principal or controller of examinations and sealed in a school envelope. Documents not in English must be translated by a certified translator. If your first language is not English, official English proficiency scores must be submitted directly to the International Programs Office from the testing center. To be considered for admission to ISU, international students applying as new undergraduates must meet the following academic requirements:
Have graduated from a high school or secondary school with satisfactory grades, received a diploma or certificate of graduation, and be eligible for admission to a major university in the country from which they graduated.
Have at least a 2.25 GPA.
TOEFL iBT: 61, Paper: 500, Computer: 173, IELTS- 5.5 overall score OR a minimum 5.0 in ALL subscores

Marketing is one of the largest and most diverse areas of business. Through its various creative, communicative, and data-driven channels, the field of marketing is based around promoting and sharing the value of a product or service with the consumer. Marketers enjoy the study and understanding of influences on consumer decisions, needs and interests. This knowledge is leveraged for the development and promotion of products and services that meet those needs. Marketers might work in the areas of research, tracking and analyzing metrics, strategic planning or utilizing creative tools and materials to create solutions and attract business. As a marketing major, students also have the opportunity to take advantage of the Flexible BBA, allowing them to double major in management, marketing, economics or finance with little to no extra courses. Marketing majors earn a degree in Marketing that provides students with the opportunity to augment the required marketing coursework with courses in other disciplines, which round out their areas of interest. These additional courses may be a combination of courses from multiple business or business-related disciplines, or can be a cohesive set of courses by which the student earns a second major in another business area. Our marketing program gives students the opportunity to dive into the world of consumer behavior and experiential learning through real-world projects.
